Melissa Joyce

I am the Licensed Marketing and Communication Coordinator at Peak Path Retirement Advisors, where I take charge of our events and marketing efforts, and design all of our collateral pieces. I have a passion for creativity and enjoy using it to highlight our team and our message. Although I've been in the financial services industry for over 11 years, I joined Peak Path Retirement Advisors in January 2014, and it has been an incredibly fulfilling experience.

Before starting my career, I graduated from The College of Saint Rose in New York with a degree in education. This background fuels my enthusiasm for putting education first with our clients. We conduct educational seminars and webinars to guide them through the key elements of retirement planning. I love our team and how we enjoy each other's company, sharing the same philosophy on helping clients, which makes for a cohesive and smooth-running experience.

When I first started working with Mike, I didn't know much about the intricacies of finance. However, it quickly became clear to me how important our work is and the significance of making informed decisions regarding retirement planning. I believe that everyone who works hard their entire life should be able to retire and enjoy their golden years without the worry of running out of money or having to return to work.

What I enjoy most about my job is working with such a comprehensive team. We are coworkers and friends, each bringing something unique to the table, yet we share the same core values about why we do what we do and why it's important for our clients. I believe that the greatest value I can provide to our clients is being their go-to person for everything. As the initial touchpoint on the team, clients have an introductory call with me to learn about the team and to share about themselves before scheduling a call with the advisors. I also handle all incoming calls and requests for transactions that need to be done.

Though I grew up in Western Massachusetts, in the Berkshires, I currently reside in Chelmsford, MA. In my free time, I am a workout enthusiast, cycling and lifting weights almost every day. In nice weather, I love going for walks and hikes. I enjoy movies, podcasts, and reading, and I am a huge New England sports fan, enjoying all kinds of sports. I have two dogs and will drive almost anywhere for good vegan food.
